An eye catching 'chameleon' new variety!

Από τις πιο πρώιμες σε άνθηση Ορτανσίες, η 'Wim's Red' είναι μια εξαιρετική ποικιλία με μεγάλα, με άρωμα μελιού άνθη (έως 30εκ μήκος), που μετατρέπονται από λευκά σε ροζ και ωριμάζουν σε βαθύ κόκκινο.

Μεγάλη διάρκεια ανθοφορίας και εξαιρετική ανθεκτικότητα.

Μέγιστο ύψος και άνοιγμα: 2μ x 1,5μ.

A new form with strong stems that carry 30cm-long honey-scented flower clusters, which turn from white to pink, then intensify in colour as they mature to a rich wine red. Its long flowering period and chameleon-like tendencies make it a great investment for the shrub border. The flower-heads can be picked for dried arrangements.

'Wim's Red'® is probably one of the earliest Hydrangea paniculata : it blooms depending on the year from late May. At that moment, the panicles are pure white, and contrast with the young wood and petioles of flowers, red burgundy. 

Panicles become pale pink in July, then turn red in September when the nights are cool. The colors are more intense in sunny situation.
