Μια ξεχωριστή ποικιλία που δίνει υπέροχους, γλυκούς, λαμπερά κόκκινους καρπούς από Ιούλιο έως τον Νοέμβριο. Αυτή η υπερτροφή μπορεί να καταναλωθεί τόσο φρέσκια όσο και αποξηραμένη.

Δίνει καρπούς από τον πρώτο χρόνο και είναι μεγαλύτεροι σε μέγεθος από τις άλλες ποικιλίες. Τα άνθη είναι ανοιχτό μωβ και εμφανίζονται από τον Μάιο έως το φθινόπωρο.

Αναπτύσσεται εύκολα και απαιτεί λίγο νερό και συντήρηση. Προτιμά θέσεις με ήλιο και υπόστρωμα με καλή αποστράγγιση.

Δεν προσβάλλεται από ωίδιο και είναι  ανθεκτική έως  -25 ºC.

Οι καρποί του περιέχουν 19 αμινοξέα, βιταμίνη C, Ka, Mg, P, πολλά ιχνοστοιχεία, καροτενοειδή, πολυφαινόλες, απαραίτητα λιπαρά οξέα κ.λπ.

Αυτο-γονιμοποιούμενη ποικιλία, δεν απαιτεί επικονιαστή.

Completely fitting within the trend of the edible garden is Lycium Princess Tao.

This gojibes gives deliciously sweet, shiny red berries from July to November. This superfood can be eaten both fresh and dried.

Princess Tao gives fruit in the first year and the berries are larger than that of other Lycium. The flowers are light purple and appear from May to autumn.

Princess Tao is an easy-to-grow plant that requires little water and maintenance. Plant Princess Tao in the sun in a well-permeable ground against a wall or rack.

Prune the main branches back at the end of winter. Princess Tao is not sensitive to mildew. Hardy to -25 ºC.
